I'm enjoying Flora Douville's 'Alphabet of Animals'. . . see the whole collection, along with some other really nice illustration and photography on her blog or on her flickr.
These adorable felt mice are by Anna G - take a look at her flickr and etsy sites for more dressed up meeces! (keep an eye out for Chewbacca Mouse - very cute!!!)
These mice inspire me to get making! I've recently been having a bit of a lull as far as felt-craft goes - I bought a new batch of coloured felt but don't know where to start!
I desperately want a Polaroid camera! I've been wanting one for about 5 years now - but I've always put it off because of the cost of films (and how few photos you get out of a film)... and now they've apparently stopped making them it looks like I'll never get one :(
Shoegazer Shop Handmade wood, glass and silver bead bracelet. Available with blue or black bead. Limited stock. If you would like one please comment or email. £3 +pp
This weekend I went to Brighton's Angel Food Bakery, a cupcake shop in the South Lanes. I've never had this kind of cupcake before and I have to say, I'm hooked! Clare, Ele and myself had these delicious pink vanilla cupcakes, sprinkled with colourful stars - our friend Simon went for the much more manly option of a gorgeous looking chocolate cupcake.
These really sweet little pictures are by Rabi M, they make me want to go and draw on flowers! Take a look at her flickr photostream if you have time...
As I'm hoping to get my own place soon, I've found myself looking more and more at homeware recently. A week or so ago I got the cutest little salt and pepper pots for 99p on eBay. They're shaped like little birds (I have a soft spot for garden birds) and are currently still in their box waiting to be unleased!
I might just have to get a couple of these super-cute expresso cups from Pepe and Friends too... it doesn't matter that I don't drink expresso - they will look lovely nestled on a shelf I'm sure! They are only £8 each, which isn't bad for something so quirky, imo.
I'm assistant editor of a magazine and live on the south coast of England. I love illustration, art, fashion, zines, jewellery and music - the quirkier the better <3. Thankyou for visiting my blog where I share stuff I've made, places I've visited, things that inspire me and things I've come across that need to be shared! x
